Part one of a two-part story concluding in the album "Pagonia", "Boreas" is a wintery fable about the search for comfort, no matter the cost, in a land of permanent frost. Brimming with glacial field-recordings captured all over the world and holiday melodies hearkening back to classic hymns, these two albums evoke a sense of wintertime, from taking a walk through a snow-covered forest to nestling down next to a fireplace seeking respite from an icy blizzard outside. So, settle in and come along for the journey through the land of wind and frost.
